This June we decided to hold a mid summers night BBQ and open evening and sent an invitation out to all of our clients, friends and neighbours. As you may have noticed we also invited our friends from The Independent Porsche Enthusiasts Club (TIPEC) to display their cars in our courtyard. To follow the car theme we held a Scalextric competition giving away an iPod Nan to the fastest lap around our infamous 13m track.

We had a fantastic turnout and the weather was perfect with an array of Porsches parked all the way down the road (which was most impressive if you're a Porsche nerd like me). Our very own DC (David Cappendell) did us proud on the BBQ. He cooked all the food we'd bought all night long and we got through a grand total of 100 hot dogs and 80 Angus burgers, and there we were all hoping for a few left overs!
To add to the entertainment our neighbours Pro-9 the Independent Porsche Specialists opened up for the evening and had some great cars on display in various stages of repair and were on hand to the TIPEC members to give advice and answer Porsche related questions.

Everyone seemed to enjoy the evening and we'd like to say a big thank you to Paul Bird from TIPEC who was a real help in organising the cars and contributed to the food to feed some of his members. We'll definitely be having another bash next year and hopefully we can tie up with TIPEC again and make the next one even better (donuts in the carpark?).
